I have two furbabies, my yorkie is 13 yrs old and my cat is 14 yrs old. My cat I rescue as a stray 6 week old kitten and Brandi I got 7 yrs ago.
I am starting to notice little things like how my cat is isolating a lot more. She was never really a social cat but she is definitely keeping to her self a lot more. I haven't noticed any changes in her physically. She seems as energetic as usual. Maybe it's just me being paranoid because i know she is getting up there in age. Brandi was recently diagnose with liver shunts but she seems to be doing fine.
I often wonder what it will be like when both have passed on. In many ways, I depend on them for things such as comfort and laughter. For now I just cherished the time I have with them. Since they are not the best of friends, I doubt they would missed each other should one pass away. |
