I use washable puppy pads. When I got him, he was too little to take outside, and didn't have all his shots yet. Also, I didn't take him out because he will NOT potty on the grass. Why, I don't know.
But, I don't mind since it is very convenient and I have 3 young children to take care of also. And he is only 5 months old and all I have to say is "go potty" and he runs over to his pad and goes pee. He goes poo all on his own.
