I'm mostly eating lots of fresh fruit and veggies with a little protein at each meal. I've heard that it's not good to lose too fast, but what exactly is not good about it? Will the weight come back on too easily or what? I've really been good and I think part of it is that I used to eat about 3,000 or more calories a day. What's your thoughts? |
Unreal, girl!! You are doing a great job on the weight loss, but I agree with Pat, you may want to check with your doctor on what they would recommend for you. Pat has posted some great info. But I do want to tell you that I am really excited for you!! You are obviously working really really hard to eat right and get the weight off. Now you have to be careful that you don't hurt yourself in the process.
I can tell you when I began to lose weight, it came off pretty quickly in the beginning, and then slowed to one or two pounds a week. This quick loss you are experiencing may slow on it's own. But remember, "slow and steady wins the race"!! You are doing this to WIN my friend, and WIN you will!!
Nice work, Teri! You are an inspiration!
