I have the large Pet Gear booster. My boys are almost 9 pounds. I bought the seat before we had Teddy, and Max loved the size. Like Teresa's babies, mine are happy together or solo in it. I also agree with Teresa that the large is great for one to lie down in.
I drive a small VW Jetta and I could fit the booster seat in my front seat if I wanted to. We keep ours in the middle of the backseat with the center seat belt.

Zo loves the firm sides of the Pet Gear seat, so she can stand & see out, but I don't like the leashes, so I'll be modifying it a bit. I plan on making a restraint with clip, come through the car seat base so that it attaches to the actual seatbelt underneath.
