Yes, our schools do have a No Tolerance policy but the teachers can not be there every second of every day. They stand outside their door when the kids are switching classes and monitor the halls and cafeteria. But sadly it is not enough. Plus when you have a child like my son who will no tell there is not much the school system can do. I will call the school to see what type of system they have in place for the kids and if there are any support groups for both the kids and parents. |
We have a phone number students can call and report bullying anonymously. You might suggest something like this to your district as well.
