We discussed the possibility of a reaction to a bee sting but do to her liver level being slightly high from her history with seizures they did not want to take the chance of giving her an steroid injection because she need all the help she can get to fight what eve this is. Most likely an infection of some sort, to what no idea. We now have two more meds, another liquid antibiotic and a liquid pain med. I am hoping that the pain med will help and she can get some food in her/ She will no even eat can food and a water mixture much like a thick soup. But I did get her to take the pill hidden in a different moister pill pocket.

Thank you all for you continued support and for keeping Brandi in your prayers ....
There is always debate whether to give a steroid (which will delay healing) or not. In the case of any severe allergic reaction, known or unknown cause, the injury can wait (antibiotics will fix that), but the allergic reaction needs to be stopped. Continued/increased swelling, drooling, labored breathing (due to the swelling and eventual closing off of the airway), are all signs of a severe allergic reaction. If the reaction isn't dealt with, they won't have to worry about the injury/infection.
