I use the puppy pads with Jasper because I am disabled with a lot of chronic pain. It is hard to go up and down our front porch steps. Plus he is so small, I worry that a hawk or other animal could get to him before I could. I have 2 other furbabies that I trained to go outside before I had health issues. They still go outside and have never even thought to use the pads we have out for Jasper.
