Do her a favor and add the weight before you put her under to be fixed. Yorkies are very small and one that is not top notch could have problems. I lost my baby boy this way and do not want anyone to go through this. I agree with fixing her but make sure she is in the best health possible before doing it. Don't rush just because the vet is recomending this. All my babies are on grain free food as best as I can afford. Every dime spent on them comes back 10 fold in the love they give. Welcome to the world of the Yorkie you will never want to leave. Enjoy your Baby!
