I've had several dogs and never even considered using potty pads until Lexi. Now, I wouldn't have it any other way. I like them mainly because she's home alone about 8 hours while I'm at work. Even though I know she can hold it, I don't want her to. I would be SO uncomfortable if I couldn't go to the bathroom until I returned home from work. So why would I expect her to do something that I'd never even consider doing myself?

And, if something happens and I couldn't get home when I expected, I don't want her to feel bad if she can't hold it any longer and has to go somewhere in the house. She's such a good girl and it would be totally my fault, but I know she'd feel sooo guilty. This way, she can use her pad and bounce away with a smile.
