I really thought by law schools must be doing something to combat bullying, but that may be in my state. What kids have to endure today with bullying is far greater than before with social media, camera phones, YouTube, and other outlets. Most people think of physical bullying, but psychological bullying can be far more damaging. We are having our incoming eighth graders reading Bystander this summer, and I'm also reading Wonder to possibly read with my English class. I am very soft spoken and easy going with my students, but they know I will not tolerate even very subtle bullying.

I took an online bullying class, and we had to watch Odd Girl Out. It was wonderful!

I'm so sorry your son has to cope with bullying. I can help, too, if you need some more resources. Does your school have a social worker that he could talk with? At least then he'd realize it's not only him, and she might help him with strategies to cope with the bullies.
