Little pink itchy spots sound like flea bites. Have you been in your home long or did you recently move there? Has Xena visited any other homes or gone anywhere where she may have picked up one?
It is also possible for humans to carry fleas into the house.
If the spots continue, I would have the vet take a quick look.
