If she/he were a human child we would keep the wrist cast dry and do no surgery. One of the doctors, who has written a number of articles in the Journals of Hand Surgery, used to say with kids if you put two bones together they will heal. The usually heal with excellent ROM and normal play allows them to regain strength.
I am assuming pups are probably the same way. Forgive yourself, it could of happened to anyone. |
