We went out of town this weekend and he was a wreck in the hotel room, he could not get comfortable, we were thinking if we could get him used to a crate that when we went out of town again he would have a security spot.
On the good side, my yorkie, Pita, did great, she's happy wherever we are. We also took her crate and I think that helped.
My daughter didn't get the chi until he was 5 months old and he had been with a man in a wheel chair since he was 8 weeks old and the habits he had from there were atrocious! The crate has never really been an issue but she would like to travel with him and thought that would make him feel more secure. He's really smart and outgoing not usually timid, but he had some insecurities when she first got him, he used to do alot of the submissive peeing and now he hardly does it all. But in public he's really nervous.
