I know EXACTLY what you are going thru....I lived in that world from the time my son was 6 years old, all the way through school, grades 1-12, as well as kids in the neighborhood, etc. He had his lunch money stolen from him at the bus stop.....the little bast&*$s told him it was "bus fee"....they jumped him in the hallways at school and took his money....they did all kinds of cruel things to him....I tried to teach him how to fight, tried to do everything I could think of.....nothing worked...same reasons your son gives you, I have heard over and over. It was when they had jumped him in the hallway, threatened him, and took his lunch money, he went to the office and reported it like I had told him to do....then he asked if he could borrow $2.75 so he could eat. Those slugs in the office refused to loan the kid the money....they chose to let him go hungry....and when I picked him up, he had tremors and a migraine headache from not eating all day long. When he finally told me what had happened, I went slap dab nuts....I tore into the office and demanded answers and shamed all of them standing there...then I called the Pasadena police and told them my son had been attacked and robbed on school property, money had been stolen, and I wanted to press charges. Long story short, HUGE scene, I pressed charges against the kid and his parents, and the school, and threatened the teachers in the office that allowed my child to be attacked on school property and did NOTHING to correct the problem. Never happened again, I can assure you of that.
