I know how hard a Yorkie can be, so keep up the good work! |
It seems like things have gotten significantly better since I started giving her the command to "Go Pee" while she was squatting and actually peeing/pooping after reading in a yorkie book that it was the proper time to give the command at first. Now I can get her to almost immediately start sniffing around for a potty spot when I give the command outside if I'm not too far from an area she has previously marked. I had been training her to do tricks like sit, speak, lay down, crawl, up, stay, c'mere for about a week too when I started the "Go Pee" command while squatting, so maybe she started to respect my orders more too. I know I sounded pretty frustrated a while back, but she's doing pretty well now and has always been the apple of my eye since the day you first sent me her photo! I tell her every day that she's an Amazing yorkie!
