I agree that puppies need extra special nutritional attention. They grow so fast!! Calcium is especially important. I home cooked for mine in the past & used an excellent supplement recommended by a lot of YTers. It's called BalanceIt & one bottle will last you forever. They also have free recipes customized to your pet so you know how much protein/veggies/carbs your little Milo should be getting. It's a tasteless powder you add to their food.

Most agree that one year old is a good time to switch to an adult food. BalanceIt does have supplements/recipes for pups younger than one year. But they need approval from your vet first.
