ZoE isn't really like me, but she reminds me ALOT of my daughter. I've often wondered if it's because my daughter saw ZoE multiple times as a puppy, and I didn't see her until the day I picked her up to bring her home (ZoE's breeder is on the opposite side of the state near where my daughter went to college).
Just like my daughter, ZoE cuddles when she wants to, not necessarily when I want her to, and is fairly confident & independent. Zo is always taking herself off to bed hours before I go, and she likes to go hang out in the sunroom by herself & watch birds, squirrels, etc. She is definitely dog not princess, and loves to play outside and has no problem getting wet or dirty, but yet likes having her hair done & sits patiently for her bow each morning. It reminds me of my daughter, who always played sports & hung out with the guys, but looked like a Barbie....very misleading.
