Gabby and I both thank you all for your birthday wishes. Hitting her 9th birthday has very special meaning to me. My first Yorkie, Katie, was only with us for 8 1/2 short years before succombing to either pneumonia or congestive heart failure, vet said it was either one that caused so much fluid so quickly
When I got Gabby, my wish was that she would live beyond the 8 1/2 year mark and my wish came true
But as her 8th birthday approached last year, I began really wanting another one as a "just in case", I did not want to be without a baby to love! Enter Gage, our rescue. They have made my life so wonderful
