Start your research at the parent club level and work your way out. Really good breeders don't have any need to advertise through venues like that one. Their reputation and success comes from word of mouth and personal recommendations. They don't view breeding as a money making venture. It's a labor of love to make sure they are breeding only the healthiest and best representatives of their breed.
Backyard breeders and puppy mills, on the other hand, are only interested in the bottom line. They will sell on sites like kiji and puppyfind without any thought to what will happen to those dogs after the payment clears.
