It is a citronella collar. Your yorkie has to be over 6lbs before you can use it. Otherwise it would be too heavy for them to carry on their necks. But I have hung the collar on the crate 4 1/2 lbs yorkie's kennel to prevent her from barking when I leave her in the hotel alone.
You an buy them at a petstore on online. There are several brands. I would double check to make sure it is light enough for small dogs to carry.
