Is the "toy breed" suggested for puppies? How old is your pup and how active?

I love Wellness, and my 4 dogs are doing well on Wellness Small Breed, Healthy Weight (cause they are 4 and 5 years old, and a couple of them could use to lose a little weight).

Often the only difference in Wellness from adult to small breed, is the size of the kibble.

BTW there was a recall on a small amt of Wellness Small Breed food a couple months ago due to company suspecting possible mold. Most reputable sellers of dog food pulled those batches. Mine was not affected, and I still have great confidence in Wellness overall.
