My Jack who will be 6 months old this week used to bite all the time, now it is his "play". The sitting on the hands works for us sometimes. My husband and I have both had numerous bites when we are throwing a toy, he brings it back, but when we go to pick it up he jumps at it, and that is when we get hurt, mainly from jerking away. We then stop playing with him until he gets the message.
Oh I am proud to say that he just pawed at my gate that keeps him behind my counter at the shop. I took him outside and he did his business. I must say that he really got a good treat when we came back in.
