If your dog had the rabies shot in 2004 she does not need it so soon. If you decide to do the Rabies shot then I would insist that it is given several weeks apart from the other shots. I know it is only a small percentage of dogs that have a reaction but I would not take the risk after what we went through. I used to believe everything the vets told me but not anymore. They said our dog would have a reaction within an hour after the vaccination. She would be fine for 3 hours and then it would hit all at once. Then there was not much time to do anything. |
