Just wanted to give an update on Chase. He turned a year old in March, and was shown on a limited basis this past spring. We went to the Oklahoma City Yorkshire Terrier specialty in May where he got 1st in his 12-18mo class and Reserve Winner's Dog. He then did the same thing on Sunday at the toy show. There was a big entry so I was proud of how he did as such a young dog. He then earned points at his next 3 shows: In Tulsa, OK (May) he went Winners Dog both days he showed for 2 points. In Texarkana, AR (June) he went Winners Dog one day for a 3-point major (his third major win). And then in Oklahoma City (June) he went Winners Dog both days for 3 more points. So in June, at 15 months old, he currently had 14 points toward his Championship with only one more point to go. He has been on a break since then to grow coat and mature and will be back out middle of September to finish his championship.
