I also have 5 herniated discs in my back, so I totally feel your pain. I've been getting epidural injections for years. I'm actually interested in that procedure you're having now. I've tried all kinds of crazy treatments for my back, but I haven't heard about that one. I might have to PM you about that. Feel better!!
