HA, I don't have to worry about someone picking any of my guys up !

When going to somewhere like PetSmart, I always put all three of them in a Shopping Basket. I just don't like them walking around where I know that other Dogs have marked and no telling what on their floors. I just don't want my guys carrying anything back to my vehicle/home on their feet like that.

Anyway, My Male Sneakers is "somewhat" protective
Actually, he'll snap at someone if they stick their hand close to him or my other two. I rather enjoy seeing the person pull their hand back quickly, and look at me with that surprised look

My usual comment to them is...
"That's not a very good idea"

It's amazing how presumptuous some people are, and many who experience Sneakers wrath, comment indignantly, expecting all Dogs (I presume) to be friendly little wiggly bodies, that they can do anything they want to/with. I just smile, as I move on, as give Sneakers a nice pat on the head.

Understand, this is encouraged/trained behavior for my Males. An extension of their responsibility/duty to not only protect themselves, but my property and person. My Females are a different story (never met a stranger). Problem is, that Sneakers won't let you get close enough to them to find that out.
