Jenn, I agree with you. Politics aside there are 5 groups that I sincerely believe have the best interest of the dogs/cats/animals in general and are supporting this bill.

Best Friends
ASPCA
Doris Day Foundation
Humane Society
PETA

so I only care that the animals are protected from what has been going on. When the first draft came up I was concerned why AKC was not supporting this bill so I asked a breeder friend and she explained what her concerns were with this bill. I think (but not sure) if they had 7 litters in a year then they had to become USDA approved and house their dogs in a kennel. Now this bothered me and I was also concerned about pounds, humane society, and rescue's. It appears that the new draft helps alleviate some of my concerns but I am still studying all of new draft.

I will be interested in your opinion.
