That's a wonderful camera. They all are, and they take great photos. The Nikon kit lenses are really very good lenses, especially for the price. Rhonda particularly mentioned speed, and I'm not sure how seriously she needs it to be fast. A camera's focusing ability is very important for speed and also whether it has an internal motor. These cameras are very responsive, and I highly recommend all of the Nikons. What's most important to me in a camera is the ability to capture photos in low light and the light metering ability. There are a lot of excellent brands of DSLRs, but Nikons are my favorite.
