My yorkie is 8mo. old and we just switched him to adult food (there is a forum on here explaining why, but basically he didn't need all the fat in puppy food anymore since he's full grown. Many small breeds switch earlier than a year.)
We feed Sully Nutro Natural Choice Small Bites Lamb & Rice meal - in the lime green bag. He really loves it. We decided against Royal Canin because of its high fat content. Some tiny yorkies are pickier eaters and could use the Yorkshire food but Sully is a healthy 9 pound boy and isn't too picky. |
