It's better to be safe than sorry. They are wiggly and fragile, and a handful even with two hands. I would not let anybody hold a pup unless they were sitting down, or better yet sitting on the floor.

We have had several members who have had their pup wiggle out of their arms and break a leg, or get a concussion. It only takes a second.
