I just rescued a 5 month old male yorkie from the pound, he came from a puppy mill/hoarding situation. The shelter told me that he was so flea infested when they got him they practically had to shave him. He is now flea free and on a preventative. My vet has him on a special diet to help his coat and skin. I'm just curious as to a few things....

1. How long will it take for his hair to start to grow out to where he actually looks like a yorkie? I love him nonetheless, but I'm excited for long hair lol.

2. If you can tell from the pics, it looks like his snout is super long because it has NO hair, and it doesn't seem to be growing in like on the rest of his body...any particular reason why maybe?

3. He has TERRIBLE breath, the vet told me to buy him dental chews and brush his teeth. Any home remedies out there for bad breath or teeth cleaning? I hate buying products and usually am able to find a home concoction to make myself but this time I haven't been able to come up with anything.
