With a vast majority of this breed coming from supposedly reputable breeders, it seems that most have had their share of medical problems, which include astronomical costs to the owners.

I am using Charlies Momma's post as an example. She states she paid only $250 for him but paid dearly so far in medical costs. Does this mean that many of the Yorkie/Biewer owners here do not have pet insurance? I would think that with knowing that this breed does come with possible future health risks, pet insurance would be a good idea. Or do most of you have pet insurance and end up still paying alot of out-of-pocket expenses?

I have a Biewer I adopted from a rescue and is between 3-4 yrs old. Clean bill of health but considering pet insurance. Thats why I have the questions here within.
