Yes. My grandma taught me to sew the basics (she practically raised me and sewed all my clothes) but I taught myself to quilt and make dresses and other things by watching Internet tutorials.
The diaper bag I made is from someone else's tutorial and I just made my own based off their idea. It's a little sloppy in a couple spots but I'm happy with it. And now I know how to improve things.
