I have a 5.25 lbs girl...I have had her spay and each year I have her dental. I agree it is best to find a vet who has experience with the smaller breeds..but it can be done.
btw... on this site teacup is ofter used to refer to yorkies that are very tiny-- under 3 lbs. A 5 lbs. yorkie is just perfect
