Thats fine. You have seen personally what they have done for these dogs. Main Line is not discrimitory and does NOT just save a certain breed like Yorkie Haven. Having the exposure that Main Line had on Oprah plus getting donations from such sponsors like Subaru (which donated a brand new vehicle to the rescue) of course helped. It's popularity as being one of only a handful of rescues that actually go to the puppy mills unannounced and take the dogs that the Amish and other mill owners were going to shoot in the back yard is a rare feat indeed. Volunteers makes a huge difference in a rescue as well. Having close to 400, these volunteers get together and have at least 1-2 fundraisers a week! Thats a week folks, not a month. So it takes dedication by everyday normal animal lovers to make it work. Bill Smith, the founder of Main Line, was seen bringing in 3 rescued yellow lab puppies at 3am to Metropolitan Vet Hospital. It was in the local paper and very inspiring. So lets applaud all the rescues out there for a job well done with hopes that the public will stop purchasing dogs from pet shops, unlicensed breeders and from online and overseas!
