I am so sorry for your loss but also disturbed as to why you never thought of having him/her euthanized to end the suffering. As soon as my 21-22 yo chi started deficating in her bed and started having problems walking, as her momma I knew it was time. The morning I decided to do this last act of love, she was walking fine, ate, drank and acted like nothing was wrong but I saw it in her eyes and it was a cry for help.

I am just glad your dogs suffering is over and may you meet again at the Rainbow Bridge!
