Dogs can burn their paws if they are made to walk on hot concrete. I know you being a Yorkie lover will not have this but I am amazed at the number of people walking their dogs on the hot surfaces. I hope you find the reason for the licking. My Spud had a thorn up in his paw once and we finally found it. He is a paw licker and will do that for no reason I have noticed. |
