Wow, this is odd, for I just found out that my terrier was a Biewer confirmed by the BCTA yesterday. What is also odd is that there are no breeders of the Biewer located in Berks county unless your friend is not registered (which she should be)!!!!! If she was, she would have much more support when something like this happens.


In any case, I live on the border of Berks Co. and I will copy and paste this on some local rescue sights for you.

I do not want to be a pessimist here, but, if the dog was purchased with bad checks, there is really no way of knowing where the dog could be. I also never purchased/rescued a dog without there EVER beng a home inspection beforehand. So sorry your friend had to learn the hard way. I will do what I can since I live close by.

Just make sure she went to the police and reported this.
