You know the thing of it is, that all you need is one serious illness or accident, and the insurance pays for itself.

One could get lucky, and have no health issues with their dog(s), but how realistic is that really? Over the life time of your pet? As all dogs age the likelihood of needing to treat something with a senior dog is quite high.
