Brilliant advice!

I housetrain puppies by taking them to their toilet area every half hour and staying with them until they pee/poop and then praise them. During the night I set my alarm for 4 hours after I go to bed so I can take them out of their crate, take them to toilet area, praise when they perform then back to bed to sleep for another 4 hours. All my pups have picked it up pretty quick
The thing to remember is to CONSTANTLY be aware of what puppy is doing and if you cannot be there to supervise then put them in their crate so they don't get the chance to have any little accidents. If they do (mine occasionally did because I was distracted by a book or the computer - entirely MY fault!) I never scold them but instead take them to the toilet area and praise them when they DO perform

Puppies WANT to be clean and soon pick up what you want & where you want them to go And at least yorkies are lovely and small so a LOT less messy than, say, a Great Dane puppy

I'm sure your baby will soon pick it all up and what work you put in NOW in her early days will reward you tenfold as she grows
