That's another debate. Pluck or not to Pluck? Some vets say to leave the hair. IMO I remove the hair. Yorkies are not wild dogs, they were bred by man as so many other breeds. But if the plucking of the hair is done gently there should be no bleeding or rawness. And you don't have to get every single hair. Believe or not my yorkies like it. I pluck a little bit hair at a time. Using ear powder does help. Good Luck
