Awww you're a saint

(((HUGS)))
I'd love to foster too but Neil is INSISTING our next dog comes to us as a puppy. We had a home trial last May (2012) with a small dog but she just kept trying to KILL our cats

She actually got hold of Nina, the epileptic one, and shook her for a second or two before I pulled her off. And ever since then Neil has been wary of rescue dogs that, in his words, someone has messed up

I'm hoping having a puppy will have Neil fall in love with the breed and he'll be more amenable to our next yorkie (or two) being rescued ones
Not that I'm a Sneaky Wife with a Plan......
Let us know how your new girl comes along

I'm sure once she starts to relax and realise she's in a good place she'll start to blossom
