I can't remember if we ever weighed our first yorkie Scamp who was our family dog between 1980 - 1996 (I was only 12 when he came home to us) but he was a bigger one - about the size of a Jack Russell

I just weighed our cat George earlier this afternoon as his quarterly worming is due and he weighs 12lb 3oz

I jokingly said to hubby Neil that's probably heavier than THREE yorkie puppies

Neil said ''No, you're only allowed ONE pup!''

It'll be interesting when I get my girl, and as she grows, to see whether I get the sort of comments you guys in the US seem to get a lot of

If ANYONE dares make a comment about teacups I'll soon put them right!!!!!

I'll politely educate them then send them here!!!
