very interesting group of careers. In spite of a degree in criminal justice I have spent a good 30 years working in sales, first for Corning Glass who transferred me all around until I wound up in MI and met my husband, and could no longer move around. I even picked out my first dog breed, a yorkie based on the size I could take on an airplane. He used to go with me on many of my sales trips. Fast forward a bunch of years later and I moved into Industrial Filter sales, I left the filter company I worked for about 3 years ago and started my own little independent sales agency selling for 5 different filter companies, many of my customers followed me. I mostly sell to distributors who make the sales calls to the factories. So my business has now developed into emails and phone calls, I rarely have to make a call in person. It is so nice not to have to go to an office or deal with a boss.
