The only problem I have with someone else disciplining my dogs is if I see my dogs cringe, shy away or look/act scared. I do not tolerate that. I think that crosses the line into teaching them to fear people and I don't want them to, if I did, I'll do that myself.
Ive never had a stranger try to discipline my dogs. It really happens? Most people just pet them, tell me how beautiful they are and move on. If my dogs are jumping on someone they have all rights to stop them from doing that, as long as it's not swatting or physical.
