I too am very over protective! I call my vet now for every little thing. When I 1st brought Luigi home, as he too was my very 1st pet ever, I called for everything...mainly just because I didn't know what the norm was. Although, the one time I was glad I did call, because he was having a reaction to a shot he had. And the vet told me to bring him in right away. Thank goodness I called! So its ok to be like that!! And your vet will get used to you calling and they will never mind you calling!! Better safe than sorry!!!!!!!!!
