I'm fine with friends & family disciplining ZoE. They know my "parenting style" and follow it (whether they agree with it or not).
If anything, I find that friends & family will let her get away with things/behavior that I won't. ZoE would bark to go out at my mum & dad's house & my dad would ask her "do you want to go out" and Zo would go nuts, barking & spinning around! Then my dad let her out! I told him that he's reinforcing that crazy behavior by letting her out after doing it. Instead he needs to make her sit & stay, side the door & screen open and then give her the signal to go out. Now dad has it down pat & all it good.
But strangers disciplining...OH HECK NO! That would be like a stranger disciplining my child. They had better be doing something real serious & life threatening to warrant such an intrusion.
