Are these the same vets that say its ok to breed a 3 pound female and then release the pups at 8 weeks?
And you disagree that mixing a so-called hypo- allergenic dog with another breed won't always result in a so-called hypo-allergenic dog? Well then, shall we ask my neighbor with the labradoodle that crazy?
When you mix 2 breeds, you are not creating a new breed. Just a mutt. It takes at least 3 different mixes to create a new genetic makeup. And then that dog has to be bred with other dogs of the same genetic makeup for it to be called a breed.
I've had mixed breeds who were healthy. I've also had (and currently have) a mixed breed who has an inherited disorder that is very rare in each of the breeds she comes from, but has a higher prevalence when this so called "designer" dog is bred.
I have to agree with others who have said on this thread. You have no desire to learn about proper breeding techniques; only to defend the fact that you either purchased or breed mutts.
