Both of my dogs do that, too. In fact, I make sure to take Mandie directly from washing, wrapped in a towel, to the "blow drying" area. lol If I let her do that, I have to deal with tangles.
Butttt, she pays me back because as soon as we are done, I take her outside so she can pee and she always rolls around on the ground like that...after all my hard work cleaning and brushing. aaaahhh! lol
