Since I recently had a health scare with Graysee, I have decided to switch from BB to another brand. Graysee exhibited signs of
Hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, so the vet took no chances and hospitalized her, and she has been on a prescription diet since returning home. Here is my reply to a question from another member who asked about BB recalls:
I did not find any recall data from Blue Buffalo, just a slew of complaints about the food, many as recently as June 2013. I felt it was worthwhile to post a warning, in case a recall materializes, or anyone else has problems. For my little Graysee, she has been on a prescription bland diet for now, and when she's off that, I have purchased a bag of Wellness Core Grain and Gluten-Free small breed kibbles; I'll see how she fares on that, for awhile. I appreciate your concern. If you'll Google "Blue Buffalo dog food complaints", you'll find the data that I discovered.
